Anil Gupta, MD, FACEP

Dr. Anil Gupta practices family medicine, treating men, women, and children, providing general healthcare services, and focusing on preventative medicine. We care about you as a patient and will work to ensure you have high-quality health care, no matter your age or condition. All of our services are designed to assess your health and wellness. We take a comprehensive approach to your health care - providing services that focus on whole-person care.

 

Dr. Gupta has practiced medicine for 30+ years. He has a particular interest in treating men's issues, weight loss management, substance use/addiction, geriatric care, and occupational medicine.

 

Career: Dr. Gupta spent many years providing medical care at the Chrysler Plant in St. Louis and the General Motors Plant in Wentzville, MO. He was also the Medical Director for the Hannibal, MO Clarity Healthcare Clinic, a part of Preferred Family Healthcare.​

Certifications: Dr. Gupta is double-board certified through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) and through the American Board of Addiction Medicine.

Personal Life: Dr. Gupta is the proud father of twins who attend university and plan to attend medical school. He enjoys spending time with his children and fiancée (a nurse-practitioner) traveling, hiking, going to the movies, visiting the Science Center, Zoo, Art Museum, the Botanical Garden, Six Flags, and so much more. Dr. Gupta was raised in a family that was committed to healthcare and they instilled that in their children. His father was a psychiatrist, his mother a nurse and he and both siblings practice medicine as well.
